Kicking off their summer vacation, ten volunteers for World Vision came together to help kids through the summer tutorial program held in a Cavite World Vision community. About 30 World Vision kids gathered for a fun-filled time of singing, games and learning.

Graduating student Donna sporting her 12-Hour Famine shirt shares a smile with the kids. She gave up her Saturday to spend time with the World Vision kids from Cavite.
Coming from different walks of life and various ages, the volunteers joined forces with one mission- to help World Vision sponsored children become more competent in school. College junior Zandy shares, “It is a heartwarming experience for me to meet these children who are hungry for knowledge. I am looking forward for a fruitful and productive summer break!”

Third-year college student Zandy shares the story "Ang Alamat ng Ampalaya" to kids from Grades 1 to 4. She says the experience of being with the children was very fulfilling.

After a fun time with the kids, volunteers of World Vision sponsors, 12-Hour Famine hunger-fighters and former World Vision sponsored children pose for the camera gleaming with the smiles and fulfillment from their time with the kids during the summer tutorial program.
The tutorials will be held every Saturday for the summer break. If you would want to be part of helping children this summer through the tutorial program do sign up online through this form.
