World Vision joins with communities, churches, governments, and other aid agencies to deliver services effectively and efficiently.
Communities - World Vision’s primary partners are the poor themselves. Poor communities take responsibility for directing the work supported by World Vision.
Churches - World Vision seeks relationships with churches and interchurch groups in working with poor and vulnerable people.
Governments - World Vision endeavors to work in a manner that parallels or complements national development objectives. It does not fund government programmes or assign funds to government agencies. It prefers to establish relationships at the grassroots level with local groups and
maintains firm policies to safeguard its independence and impartiality in providing aid and assistance.
Aid Agencies and Multilateral Organisations - World Vision cooperates and advocates with non-governmental organizations, other aid agencies, global institutions such as the United Nations and its specialized agencies. World Vision is represented on several local and international coalitions and committees dealing with issues such as child labor, child soldiers, fair trade and status of women and poverty alleviation.
Business Sector - World Vision partners with the business sector. Deeper understanding and better appreciation of World Vision’s work with the poor opens doors for partnership and meaningful involvement of the business sector. As they seek to give and bless the poor children and families, we also want to journey with them towards transformation.
