QUEZON CITY OFFICE BASED ASSIGNMENT

 

HUMANITARIAN AND EMERGENCY AFFAIRS

  • TECHNICAL ASSISTANT: A graduate of Bachelors Degree in Management, social sciences or equivalent substantial experience in development. At least two or three years experience in providing executive level support. Strength in research, situational analysis, development communication, report writing, proposal writing, liaison work with networks other agencies.

PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
 

  • GRANTS ACQUISITION AND MANAGEMENT (GAM) SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelors degree in Marketing or any Social Science/Development Course with equivalent in program development and management (PDM) with emphasis on design. At least 5 years of substantial experience in grants, acquisition, grants administration & PDM. Strength in program development and management, technical writing, packaging of proposals, community organizing and development, excellent communication skills in verbal and written English.
  • ADVOCACY AND PARTNERSHIP MANAGER: A graduate of Bachelors degree in social sciences, public administration and public policy. Graduate/or post graduate degree preferred. Minimum of five years professional experience in public administration or public policy in a multi-cultural, child-focused, non-profit/corporate, and/or humanitarian organization. General experience in project management, with specific experience in the advocacy project design, public policy, public engagement and CSO partnership and mobilization. Understanding and direct exposure to poverty issues within the Local, National and Regional context. Knowledge and experience on integrated advocacy, campaigns in public engagement, marketing and communications.
  • MULTIMEDIA SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelors Degree in Film, Mass/Development Communications, Multimedia Arts, or any related course. This position provides excellent multimedia presentations to creatively represent WV’s brand, identity, and key messages through online and motion media (TV, spots, youtube, cinema, LED billboards) channels. At least 2 years professional experience in multimedia, film and video productions for non-profit/corporate, and/or humanitarian organizations; Exposure on TV/broadcast/electronic news gathering (ENG) a plus.
  • YOUTH ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR: A graduate of Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Marketing or other relevant Courses, with equivalent substantial experience in youth engagement and educational management. At least 2 years experience in TD work/ holistic ministry work or youth programming/ services, educational management and strategic partnering with various publics such as learning institutions and youth groups/ associations. Good background in events organizing, public relations & marketing, technology, youth development, and with rich understanding of transformational development ministry.
  • MEDIA ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or any related course. Minimum 2 years professional experience in public relations, corporate communications, and/or media relations for non-profit/corporate, and/or humanitarian organizations; Exposure on TV/broadcast/electronic news gathering (ENG) is a plus. Highly experienced in media engagements, integrated marketing communication campaigns, donor engagement, and public awareness drives.
  • DONOR CARE SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelors degree in Marketing, Social/ Behavioral Sciences or any four year course with relevant experience in telemarketing and customer care/service. At least 1 year of substantial experience in telemarketing, call center or customer care/service. This position is responsible in implementing strategies and programs for caring the donors and sponsors in the sponsorship and non-sponsorship programs of World Vision and to ensure their long-term commitment, satisfaction and engagement to the ministry.

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY

  • KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related IT courses with experience in a development communication, Knowledge Management or any related field. This position will manage the organization-wide knowledge sharing (Sharepoint) and Horizon within and outside the organization. At least 2 years experience in project management, technical or instructional writing. This also requires conceptual, analytical, and innovative problem-solving ability; ability to handle complex knowledge management issues and proven ability to assess client groups’ information needs and be innovative in the design and delivery of appropriate targeted solutions within the sector/unit.
  • IT SYSTEMS SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelors degree in Information Technology or broad knowledge of computer science field. This position will manage all aspects of information technology system administration and development, offering cost-effective solutions through innovative design and thorough knowledge of business-growth-enabling tools. At least 3 years of broad and deep experience information technology support.

FINANCE, ADMINISTRATION & SYSTEMS

  • FINANCE ANALYST: A graduate of B.S. in Accountancy, preferably CPA; 23-35 years of age; with at least 1 year experience in handling general accounting and with strength in financial recording and analysis financial transactions. The position is responsible in ensuring World Vision financial policies, government regulations and donor requirements are met in all financial transactions processed, high quality and timely processing, recording and reporting of financial transactions to support implementation of programs and assist in decision making and assisting staffs and teams in understanding and implementing policies and procedures in all financial transactions
  • ACCOUNTANT: Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance preferably CPA. At least 2 years experience in general accounting. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, budget/cash-flow monitoring and internal accounting controls, financial systems, internal control, taxation, business process analysis and development. Good communication skills in both oral and written forms.  High level of computer literacy and knowledge in spreadsheets, word processing and accounting software.  Knowledge of Sun System preferred. .  Ability to interface sensitively with people from various sections, departments and nationalities.
     
  • FIELD OFFICE ACCOUNTANT (LUZON FO): Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance preferably CPA. At least 2 years experience in general accounting, particular, accounts payable processes and taxation. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, budget/cash-flow monitoring and internal accounting controls, financial systems, internal control, taxation, business process analysis and development.  .  Good communication skills in both oral and written forms.  High level of computer literacy and knowledge in spreadsheets, word processing and accounting software.  Knowledge of Sun System preferred. Ability to interface sensitively with people from various sections, departments and nationalities.
     
  • NRD FINANCE OFFICER: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.  CPA, MBA, CFA preferred. At least 3 years experience in financial and analysis.  Preferably, at least 1 year experience in supervision.  Experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Knowledge in accounting, management reporting and, financial planning and budgeting.  Strong understanding of NRD and business practices.  Strength in handling large volume of financial simulations, accurately under pressure.  High level of computer literacy.  Ability to think independently and recommend best practices.  Good communication skills, both written and oral. Good time management and organisational skills.  Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills.  Good people skills and facilitation skills.

 INTERNAL AUDIT

  • INTERNAL AUDITOR: A graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and/or Finance and Administration, Community Development, or related field. Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or any equivalent certification. At least 2 years of auditing experience; or relevant/equivalent community development work experience. Strength in systems and information analysis and reporting, internal controls audit processes and management information systems, monitoring/evaluation and related processes, as well as government rules and regulation.  With good oral and written communication skills and good inter-personal skills.

PEOPLE AND CULTURE

  • HR INFORMATION SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, IT or other related course or   equivalent experience in handling HR info systems function. At least 2 years experience in handling information management system. Strength in data analysis, computer programming and database management.    
  • LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelors degree in Business, Social Sciences and or an equivalent experience in Leadership Development Management. At least 3 years experience in Capacity Building / Managing and / or supervising Leadership Training Programs. Proficient facilitation / delivery skills including classroom management, listening and feedback skills, experience in designing learning or training interventions, have a passion for helping people and learn new skills.
 

INSTITUTE FOR TRANSFORMATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • INNOVATIONS AND LEARNING SPECIALIST: A graduate of Social Sciences, Development Studies, Adult Education or applied research. This position primarily serves as catalyst of innovations in transformational development.  It explores, examines and nurtures project innovations and best practices to enhance ministry. At least 3 years in managing development wok, conduct applied research, project evaluation, use of tools in impact evaluation, designing and conducting learning events and experience in using latest digital tools and audio/visual.

OPERATIONS

  • CHILD PROTECTION AND DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (Luzon FO): A graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/Law, Child Psychology or Family Development or equivalent experience in providing professional expertise in Child Protection and Development. At least 3 years experience in providing leadership or technical support in Child Protection & Development Programs. Strength in understanding Children’s Laws, advocacy, technical writing and team leading.

 

  • COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FACILITATOR (ADP MALABON): This position is primarily responsible for engaging communities (families and children) to actively make sense and decide on issues which affect their lives, setting goals for transformational development and taking action through empowerment and participative processes. A Graduate of BS Social Work, Community Development or any related field. At least one or two years deep experience in working with communities and community development. 

FIELD OFFICE BASED ASSIGNMENT

LUZON :  Sorsogon, Batangas, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Isabela, Tuguegarao  and Zambales

  • CHILD CARE SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelors degree in Social Science, Education or equivalent experience in Social Work and Child Development. This post will facilitate and guide relevant partners in ensuring sustainability in the well-being of children and fulfillment of their rights within families and communities. Knowledge on sponsorship policy and standards and strength in case management and reporting, networking skills, and community organizing.
  • CHILD DATA ANALYST: A graduate of Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or other related courses. Background in data management and analysis and computer operations. Understand TD framework and policy, poverty and development issues; Child development; and Sponsorship Business Process. Skills in System Proficiency and Analytical. With attention to details, a team player, pressure-tolerant and with sense of urgency.
  • DME SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelors degree in related field, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Research Methods or Mathematics. With good understanding of poverty related issues in the Philippines development context, aptitude in technical report writing, understanding of Monitoring and Evaluation Systems and Frameworks. Excellent Communication skills, proven technical experience in Logical Framework, Qualitative and Quantitative data collection techniques, experience in development agency, proven project management skills and competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
Visayas : Cebu, Tagbilaran, Tacloban, Leyte, Iloilo, Antique, Aklan
  • PROGRAM OFFICER: A graduate of Bachelors degree in Social Science, Development and Education or equivalent substantial experience in community development and sponsorship operations and services. This post will facilitate implementation and ensure quality of outputs of different transformational development programs and projects in covered areas through sustainable and ministry-driven strategies. Proven competencies in community organizing; project management; partnership and networking; people management skills and team leadership; strength in coaching and mentoring, excellent communication skills.
  • ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST:  A graduate of Business Management, or any business related course. At least 3 years of broad and deep experience in economic development; strength in business management, business planning and value chain analysis, cooperative development, savings and credit management, sustainable agriculture, enterprise development and broad understanding of transformational development models.
  • PROGRAM ACCOUNTANT: A graduate of Accountancy or other courses related to Business Administration; with at least 2 years experience in accounting, finance, or audit with exposure in community development. The position ensure compliance to policies, government regulations and donor requirements, quality and timely processing, recording and reporting of financial transactions.
     
  • DME SPECIALIST: A graduate of Bachelors degree in related field, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Research Methods or Mathematics. With good understanding of poverty related issues in the Philippines development context, aptitude in technical report writing, understanding of Monitoring and Evaluation Systems and Frameworks. Strength in Human Resource Functions. Workforce planning, recruitment, orientation, Labor relations, diversity management, info systems and development.  Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • CHILD DATA ANALYST: A graduate of Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or other related courses. Background in data management and analysis and computer operations. CHILD HEALTH NOW
 

  • CHN NATIONAL ADVOCACY SPECIALIST: A graduate of a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, public administration and public policy. At least five years experience in development, advocacy or human rights work. A successful track record in developing and implementing policy advocacy campaigns. Extensive experience in partnership building and networking with government and civil society organizations, and ability to rally coalitions and networks to take positions on specific policy issues. Has a good understanding of maternal and child health and nutrition issues at the national context.

  • Community Economic Ventures, Inc. (CEVI) is a Christian, non-stock, non-profit, non-government organization in the Philippines. It is organized to respond to the needs of micro-entrepreneurs engaged in trading, manufacturing and service-type businesses through the provision of financial and technical assistance. CEVI is a micro finance arm of World Vision Development Foundation, and part of the global network of VisionFund International.

CEVI (Quezon City-based)
 

  • CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar qualification with at least two years working experience post as CPA. Masters / Degree in Business Administration will be of added value. A minimum of 5 years or more in the field of finance management and accounting. Overall understanding and deep insights into Treasury Management. Good knowledge of the local and VF regulatory requirements under which VF MFI operates. Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team. Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of integrity. Be proficient in Microsoft & sun systems with excellent excel spreadsheet skills. Experience of microfinance is preferred. Good knowledge in economic and financial topics. Be a good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach. Very good communication (presentation) skills.

Working Environment / Conditions:

  • Office environment:  typical office based with frequent field visit(10% in the field and 90% at the office)
  • Travel:  70% Domestic 30% international travel is desired 

  • CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER: Degree in economics, accounting or business administration or any other social science field. Hands on experience in credit and deposit operations. At least 5 years’ experience at a senior managerial level. Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team. Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude. Be a good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach. Very good communication and marketing skills.
