In 2006, it launched an Asia-wide sponsorship and technical/vocational/college scholarships program. The same grant was accorded in 2009. In the Philippines, 250 J&J Employees give a monthly donation thru salary deduction supporting over 480 children since 2003.

The Partnership
The partnership between World Vision Philippines and Seattle's Best Coffee (SBC) started in 2010 with their Christmas promo "SBC Give and Receive" . Through this marketing campaign, SBC was able to sponsor 5 kids in one of our communities. After this initial partnership, they continued the 2011 Christmas Promo campaign, wherein additional 11 kids were sponsored by SBC. This has been a yearly campaign of SBC which sustains their sponsorship to 16 children. Aside from this partnership, they have supported various events of World Vision such as, the World Vision Run Towards Fullness of Life and the 12 hour Famine event.

During the Typhoon Ketsana Relief Operations Project, they have on the first appeal responded not only on a national level. JP Morgan Offices in Indonesia, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong have committed, through employee giving, and as a corporate body donated funds for the relief operations. Its Philippine office donated both cash and gifts-in-kind.

Responded to World Vision’s appeal to support the Typhoon Ketsana Relief Operations Project. The gravity of the disaster prompted them to double the grant asked.

Save-it-Forward in 2008 was a promotion for its savings account holders to win educational plans matched with sending another poor child to school with World Vision. Some 40 children benefitted from this initiative.

is one of the largest supermarket chains in the Philippines today. It seeks to educate and empower its customers on their choice of foods and products to promote healthy living and proper nutrition.

The Partnership
Robinsons Supermarket has been an active partner of World Vision since 2005 when they started supporting World Vision’s Noche Buena Christmas Caravan. They have been helping 15 World Vision sponsored children under the Lunchbox of Hope campaign with Unilever since 2009. The supermarket chain also assisted World Vision’s relief efforts during the Ondoy and Pepeng Emergency Response last 2010. Through a cause related marketing promotion called Ice Cream Festival, WORLD VISION as sole beneficiary of the proceeds for charity, shall receive fifty centavos (Php 00.50) for every purchase of any Ice Cream Brand from any of the fifty five (55) participating ROBINSON’S SUPERMARKET branches, nationwide.

For every single receipt purchase from participating retail outlets + P10.00 donation, customer may redeem a fashionable eco bag. Proceeds from this will send 100 kids to school this school year 2012-2013.

Right in time for the back to school season in 2009, Unilever launched the Lady’s Choice “Lunchbox of Hope” Project with Robinson’s Supermarket. This project sends 15 children to school. This initiative is succeeded with regular promotional sales (eg. Red Apple Sale) where World Vision Non-Sponsorship Projects are supported.

RES TOE RUN is supporting WORLD VISION by dedicating 3% of their sale proceeds and through WORLD VISION coin banks to raise funds from its 24 branches nationwide. The cash donation from the sales and collection from the coin banks are dedicated to child sponsorship and community development efforts for their five sponsored children in WORLD VISION’s area development programs. RES TOE RUN is also helping WORLD VISION in its child sponsorship campaign through posting of tarpaulins in their branches.

For the past 3 years a portion of sales proceeds from the annual promotional program of Tupperware Brands Chain of Confidence was donated to World Vision’s Child Sponsorship Program. This year in connection with their 19th year anniversary celebration, Tupperware Brands sponsored 100 children. The 100 corresponds to 100 of its outlets sponsoring a child each.

Heeding the call for urgent assistance during the Typhoon Ketsana Relief Operations, QNet donated and volunteered to distribute a total of 1528 relief sacks to disaster-stricken families in the Philippines. It similarly responded to the earthquake disaster in Indonesia, and to flash-flood affected families in Laos, India and VietNam.

Commencing in May 2006 thru the initiative of the business unit group head for Robinson's Convenience Stores, Bobby Go, MINISTOP is helping promote World Vision’s campaign through coinbanks, brochures and banners placed in 300 outlets. MINISTOP customers can donate to the cause or get more information about World Vision at the cashier terminals.

Timex Corporation is a leading watch manufacturer that became famous for its successful Indiglo backlight system available on many watches. With its large and varied line of watches Timex meets the individual style of each costumer.  

The Partnership
TIMEX sponsors to 20 children apart from individual sponsorships from employees. TIMEX has also supported World Vision in its effort to rehabilitate schools by providing 208 new classroom armchairs this year for the assistance of an elementary school which recently recovered from a fire accident. TIMEX was also swift to respond during the Typhoon Frank Relief Operations. The appeal was disseminated to their employees and global office. As a result, TIMEX USA donated $10,000 and their employees out of involvement and volunteerism, raised over Php 130,000 for the Typhoon Frank victims across Panay Island.

Network TwentyOne is an education and training company supplying Professional Development Programs to Independent Business Owners (IBOs) working with the Quixtar and Amway network marketing business opportunities. In its regular quarterly assemblies, World Vision is allowed to appeal among its thousands of down-lines. To date, there are 132 children benefitting from this public awareness campaign.

50 children from World Vision’s Ebenezer II- ADP in Cavite was chosen as the beneficiary of Optus 24/7’s CSR Project. The company holds monthly CSR activities to ensure sustainable development among these 50 children’s families and community.

The Bayad Center continues to blaze the trail in the industry by providing outsourced bills collection solutions to their corporate partners, and providing the public with a reliable and convenient payment collection service.

Known as the "Bayad Mo, Buhay Ko" program, all payment transactions done at the Bayad Center will correspond to an amount that will be donated to World Vision . The donation will be done at no cost to the customer. Apart from this, Bayad Center is also supporting the education and overall welfare of 10 children.

The Partnership
In November 2008, Mannasoft partnered with World Vision in helping the poor children by engaging thru the Child Sponsorship Program. Currently, they are sponsoring 50 children in Cavite. They also donated computer accessories and software to World Vision partner schools in Malabon in 2011. Mannasoft is also a partner & provider of WVDF in developing a database system software for the improvement of WVDF sponsor database.

The Partnership
Chronotron Inc. started partnering with World Vision last March 2011 by being one of the sponsors of our Flying High event, an appreciation event for WV kids who graduated with honors. They donated 20 Unisilver Time watches as tokens for the 20 WV kids. Eventually, Unisilver Time started sponsoring 10 children also in 2011. They are also a consistent donor of tokens & giveaways to every WV events.
